Well, I met goal. It wasn’t easy and I barely made it, but it happened. I am thrilled.
Tonight starts week two of “bringing it” and I am eager to get it going. I know I will be more sore this week than last week, but I have my recovery drink and epsom salts ready. I am confident I will succeed.
I have been averaging a daily burn of 2661 so far, and average eating 1677 calories a day. As I am able to do more of the P90X series I have to watch my burn rate and adjust up on my calories so that I maintain a healthy loss and make sure I am burning fat, not muscle.
The bugg helps. Monday is my P90X rest or Xstretch day, and yesterday I did that instead of my normal amount of cardio. I only burned 2000 calories. MAN. I think back to the days I did NOTHING and how much my burn vs food probably was. YIKES.
Now I have the tools to make sure I never let that happen again. The feeling? EMPOWERED.
