Buggin out with the Bugg

Bodybugg Totals for 021010

A successful day with the Bugg

I broke 3,000 cal burned for the first time yesterday.  3228 calories burned and 20,593 steps.  This was no small feat for me either!  How did I do it?

  • 5:45-6:30 AM Turbo Jam’s Cardio Party DVD with all the intensity I could muster
  • Work from 8-12:30
  • 12:45-1:15 PM Treadmill Intervals:  5 Min Warm-up, 5 Min Cool Down, and 20 min doing 3 min at 4-5 intensity and 1 min at 7-8 intensity (incline 1%-3% for the 3 min periods, and 5%, 6%, 7%, and 8% for the 1 min periods
  • Work from 1:30-5:00
  • 3 Mile walk outside in the snow to Boston Market (for dinner with my DH) from 6:20-8:45 with a break in there for a 380 cal turkey and steamed veggie dinner

I was tired this morning, so I don’t think the PM walk will be an every night kind of thing, but I will still be doing my evening cardio.  2.5 hours was a lot of time, but the snow and hills really got my heart going, so I am glad to have done it and will try to do one a week.  It was nice to hang with him, too, he is trying to work more cardio in also.

Yesterday’s burn gave me a huge deficit for the day, which I am glad about.  With the trip in the car going back and forth from IL to MI I need to go into the weekend with the biggest deficit I can so that I can sit for 10-12 hours without it having an affect on a loss for this week.

Today I did Turbo Sculpt in the AM which was strength training.  I have cardio at lunch and then I am working retail tonight from 5:30-9ish so no evening cardio.  I have to hope that I can at least have a little deficit today as well.  Tomorrow I only have Cardio Party then it is a 5.5 hour car trip, so I know tomorrow may be a break even kind of day (gasp).  I need to be ready!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I love my bugg!
